A Leonyx studio is designed to be far more flexible than a traditional build-out. Our studios are modular and intended for the home, clinic, wellness center, gym, or performance center. Basecamp and Ascent are offered in both indoor and outdoor versions, while Peak is currently only available as an indoor studio. Studios can be installed indoors or in the cases of Basecamp and Ascent as a steel outdoor room, with site-specific installation shaped by access, power, flooring, and environmental conditions.
In practical terms, that means you can set one up in places like a dedicated home gym, a spare commercial tenancy, a clinic treatment and training area, a wellness facility, or an outdoor pad adjacent to an existing building, provided the site can support the required access and electrical setup. Final site readiness depends on factors like ingress and egress, power availability, floor leveling or reinforcement, and for outdoor models, things like a concrete slab or level structural pad, weatherproof power, and appropriate sealing.
How much space do you need?
The right answer depends on which studio you choose.
Studio Basecamp is the most compact option and is positioned as “Perfect for home gyms.” Its external footprint is 10’2” × 9’4” × 8’3” with a floor area of 7.56 m² / 81.4 ft², and it is recommended for up to 3 users.
Studio Ascent is the mid-size option. Its external dimensions are 18’4” × 9’4” × 8’3”, with a floor area of 15.12 m² / 162.7 ft², and is suitable for up to 6 users.
Studio Peak is the largest format. Its external dimensions are 18’4” × 18’4” × 8’3”, with a floor area of 30.25 m² / 325.6 ft², and it is recommended for up to 12 users.
The real-world answer
The footprint is the studio size itself, not the total room you should allow for a smooth install and comfortable use. In the real world, you’ll also want enough surrounding clearance for:
-
access during delivery and assembly
-
door swing and safe entry/exit
-
circulation around the unit
-
any connected equipment, displays, or training devices
-
service access for electrical and environmental systems
We require a site assessment that reviews photos, floor plans, electrical setup, access route, and intended use before finalizing the installation plan.
A simple way to think about it
If you want the most compact home-ready option, Basecamp is the obvious fit. If you want a more versatile studio for a clinic, wellness business, or performance setting, Ascent gives you a much larger training footprint without jumping to a full commercial-scale room. If you want a true multi-user flagship space for a gym, recovery center, or performance facility, Peak is the largest format available.
Bottom line
You can set up a Leonyx studio in a home, clinic, wellness center, gym, performance facility, or outdoor installation area, as long as the site has the right access, power, and structural readiness. Space needs start at roughly 81.4 ft² for Basecamp, 162.7 ft² for Ascent, and 325.6 ft² for Peak, before allowing extra room for circulation and installation logistics.
